Boysun Works For Success In Wolf Point


Wolf Point High School senior Ben Boysun is a hard worker both inside and outside of the classroom.
He carries a 3.7 grade point average and ranks fifth for the Class of 2022.
He appreciates being a member of the National Honor Society.
“It shows that I’m pretty smart and work to have good grades,” Boysun said.
One of his activities has been being a part of the school’s swing choir in each of the last four years.
“I enjoy singing a little bit and I like the trip in the spring,” Boysun said.
His favorite class is welding because he appreciates building projects.
Favorite teachers include Martin Toavs and Tiffani Darby.
“They are both cool,” Boysun said.
After school and through a seventh-period work release plan, Boysun keeps active with a job at the farmers elevator.
“I like the four-day week and being able to work on Fridays,” Boysun said of why he feels fortunate about going to school in Wolf Point. “I like the people I go to school with and the teachers.”
As far as sports, Boysun participates in football and track. During football season, he played on the offensive and defensive lines for the Wolves.
“This past season went really well,” Boysun said. “We did a lot better than my first two years.”
After missing part of last track season due to an injury, Boysun is setting goals for this year in the shot put and javelin.
“This year, I’m hoping to make it all the way to state,” he said.
