Garfield, Davis Post Mat Victories At Mixer

Mason Garfield, a senior, led Wolf Point’s efforts during a wrestling mixer in Poplar on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

Garfield earned a major decision victory, 16-1, over Miles City’s Mick Friend during the first round of the mixer. Garfield later pinned Miles City’s Jackson Miller in 1:37.

Wolf Point’s Jordan Davis lost on a pin in 2:58 against Miles City’s Easton DeJong in the first round of action. Davis then was pinned by Miles City’s Ryan Paxton in 3:57.

Joli Beston was defeated on a pin by Forsyth’s Abe Potts and later lost on a pin against Miles City’s Deegan Tvedt.
