Froid/Lake Girls Stop Circle, 32-21

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks battled back to edge the Circle Wildcats, 32-21, in girls’ basketball action on Saturday, Jan. 29.

After trailing 11-4 at the end of the first quarter, the Red Hawks pulled to 15-13 during the second quarter.

Froid/Lake held a 21-20 lead at the end of the third quarter.

The Red Hawks then outscored Circle by an 11-1 margin in the final period.

Leading the Red Hawks were Dasani Nesbit with 12 and Carolyne Christoffersen with 11 points.

Also scoring were Baylee Davidson with six and Mara Salvevold with three points.

Top scorers for Circle included Alexis Moline with nine and Tina Hogan with six points.

The Red Hawks will travel to Culbertson on Friday, Feb. 4.
