County Reports 122 Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County has 122 active cases as of Monday, Feb. 7. There have been 70 COVID-related deaths in the county.

County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.

Adult vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on Feb. 17 in Wolf Point and on Feb. 24 in Culbertson.

There will be a vaccination clinic for children, ages 5-11, from 1-4 p.m. on Feb. 25 in Wolf Point.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had four active cases as of Monday, Feb. 7. The county has 355 recovered cases and 368 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.

Valley County reports 59 active cases as of Friday, Feb. 4. The county has 1,501 recovered cases and 1,594 cumulative cases. There have been 34 COVID-related deaths.

In McCone County, there are 10 active cases as of Friday, Feb. 4. There have been nine COVID-related deaths in the county. There have been 356 recovered cases and 375 cumulative cases.

Phillips County had 23 active cases as of Monday, Feb. 7. There have been 958 recovered cases and 27 COVID-related deaths.

For Richland County, there were 79 active cases and 2,348 recovered cases as of Friday, Feb. 4. Total COVID-related deaths are 30. There have been 2,457 total cases.

Sheridan County had six active cases as of Monday, Feb. 7. There have been 634 recovered cases and 11

COVID-related deaths.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 251,920 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,560,876 tests conducted.

Around the state, there are 10,256 active cases. There are 310 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Feb. 7, a total of 3,037 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 238,627 people have recovered. A total of 11,187 have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics

Williams County, N.D., had 99 active cases as of Tuesday, Feb. 8, bringing the cumulative total to 10,150. There have been 67 COVID-related deaths.

Mountrail County, N.D., had 46 active cases as of Tuesday, Feb. 8, bringing the cumulative total to 3,087. There have been 33 COVID-related deaths.

Divide County, N.D., had 451 cases as of Tuesday, Feb. 8, bringing the cumulative total to 3,087. There have been four COVID-related deaths.

Vaccine Doses

As of Monday, Feb. 7, 1,391,217 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 551,056 or 54 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 11,488 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Feb. 7. There are 4,767 fully immunized for 48 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.

In Valley County, 7,683 total doses have been administered. There are 3,157 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s 6,931 eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,711 total doses have been administered. There are 697 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,092 total doses have been administered. There are 423 fully immunized for 27 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination.

In Richland County, 9,587 total doses have been administered. There are 4,123 fully immunized for 40 percent of the county’s 10,310 eligible for vaccination.

In Phillips County, 4,198 total doses have been administered. There are 1,752 fully immunized for 48 percent of the county’s 3,675 eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 4,576 total doses have been administered. There are 1,822 fully immunized for 59 percent of the county’s 3,075 eligible for vaccination.
