Lonefight Makes Not Guilty Plea To Drug Charge

Jamie Marie Lonefight, 65, of Plentywood, made a not guilty plea on charges of possession with intent to distribute. Lonefight appeared in Great Falls before U.S. Magistrate Judge John T. Johnston on Feb. 22.

According to court documents, beginning in approximately January 2019 and continuing until on or about July 15, 2019, in Plentywood and within Sheridan County, Lonefight knowingly possessed with the intent to distribute five grams or more of actual methamphetamine.

Lonefight faces a mandatory minimum five years to 40 years in prison, a $5 million fine and at least four years of supervised release. Lonefight was released pending further proceedings. The Drug Enforcement Administration investigated the case.
