Plentywood Girls Earn Eastern C Title

Plentywood won the Eastern C girls’ basketball title with a 48-39 victory over North Country in Sidney on Saturday, March 5.

The Wildcats gained a 15-5 lead in the first quarter and held a 25-22 advantage at the half.

Plentywood scored 12 points in the third quarter to increase its lead to 37-29.

Plentywood’s top scorers were Emma Brensdal with 19 and Liv Wangerin with 13 points.

Leading North Country were Jaycee Erickson with 16 and Teagen Erickson with 13 points.
