Mark Nelson was chosen by the council to represent the council on the Roosevelt County Conservation District and the council approved renewing its membership with Great Northern Development Corporation.

During public comment, one resident complained about the number of stray cats in Culbertson. He said vacant houses in the area are contributing to the problem.

Minutes were approved for the Feb, 7 meeting and Feb. 7 work session. Financial reports were approved, including the treasurer’s report, general journal, payroll and utility billing vouchers and February bills.

Following the meeting, the council held a workshop to begin the process of raising water rates per recent increases announced by Dry Prairie. Council action is expected at the next regular meeting, April 11 at 6:30 p.m.
