Wild West For Ukraine

North Dakota Window artist Sam Rush paints dozens of business frontages between Watford City and Williston, N.D. She traveled to Culbertson’s Wild West Diner March 21 at the behest of Shelley Baldwin, who asked her to paint the image. “She wanted the little girl stomping on tanks to end war,” said Rush. “I love how it turned out.” Baldwin told the Community News that she hoped travelers on U.S. Highway 2 would see the show of support for Ukraine’s fight for freedom during the Russian occupation.
