Turcotte Stays Active At High School

Russell Turcotte is glad that he’s part of Wolf Point High School’s senior class after arriving in the community when he was a junior high student.
His involvement has included playing on the football team and being a member of the Wolves’ track program.
He was an offensive guard and a defensive end this past football season.
“The highlight was getting a win on the home field,” Turcotte said. He is expected to be one of Wolf Point’s top throwers during this track season. He says the discus is his favorite event.
“I like the way it feels, it’s the most fun,” he explained.
His goal is to qualify for the Class B state track meet.
His favorite class is weight lifting. He likes the power clean procedure the best.
Turcotte mentions Douglas Evans as his favorite teacher.
“He’s a funny guy. He’s easy to relate to,” Turcotte said.
After starting to attend school in Wolf Point during the junior high, he now feels at home at the high school.
“My mom went here, so I can relate to it,” he said.
After graduating from high school, Turcotte plans to attend MSU Billings and study real estate.
“I like selling stuff and dressing up every day,” he said.
