Montana Highway Patrol Officer T’Elle Evans told the

Northern Plains Independent

that a single vehicle crash involving two Wolf Point teenagers is being investigated. Evans said Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice officers requested assistance at Swimming Pool Road in Wolf Point around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9.

She said the accident occurred approximately six miles north of town and involved two Wolf Point teenagers, males, 16 and 18 respectively. Both were ejected from a southbound 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck when it left the road and overturned. They were flown to Billings with injuries. At press time, their status is unknown.

Evans said speed and alcohol were likely factors in the crash and said the investigation is ongoing.
