Culbertson, Bainville and Froid/Lake each earned honors during the 37th annual Norm Girard Top 10 track meet in Glasgow on Tuesday, May 3.

Culbertson’s Megan Granbois cleared 4-10 to place third in the high jump at the highly regarded meet.

The girls’ 400-meter relay team featuring Makena Hauge, Destiny Thompson, Granbois and Autumn Bergum finished fifth at 53.9 seconds.

Taking seventh were Bergum in the 100 at 14.2 and Kayli Olson in the 1600 at 6:10.45. Olson took eighth in the 3200 at 13:16.62.

Performing the best for the Cowboys was Aiden Perkins with a sixth in the discus at 133-1. The senior took ninth in the shot put at 41-6.

Justice Bengochea took seventh in the shot at 42-0 and 10th in the discus at 110-7. Taking 10th were Kyler Kempton in the javelin, Bengochea in the discus and Bridger Salvevold in the 100 and 800.

Bainville’s Charles Butikofer cleared 5-10 to earn second place in the high jump. He took seventh in the javelin at 139-4.

Samuel Butikofer was eighth in the high jump at 5-6 and Ayden Knudsen finished ninth in the 3200 at 11:54.10.

Elsie Wilson took ninth in the 100 at 14.35, 10th in the 100-meter hurdles at 19.02 and 11th in the high jump by clearing 4-6.

Leading Froid/Lake was Carolyne Christoffersen with a best of 36-2 for third place in the shot put. The junior took sixth in the javelin at 105-1 and ninth in the discus at 87-7.

In the boys’ division, Javonne Nesbit came through with a mark of 39-2 in the triple jump for fourth place.

Max Engelke finished fifth in the 400 with a time of 55.84 seconds.
