Lady Indians Notch Win Over Fairview
The Lady Indians notched a win over Fairview and a close loss to Sidney in non-conference contests Thursday and Friday, Jan. 9 and 10.
Thursday, Poplar dropped a tight game at home to Class A Sidney 45-39. A 47-41 win at Class C Fairview followed Friday.

“Friday, we couldn’t get the ball to go in the hoop. Chloe Belton led the team with 22 [points],” he said.
“We’re at the midway point in the season and will be fine-tuning things to get ready for February,” Big Horn said of a scheduled non-conference game at Lame Deer Friday, Jan. 17.
The Indians dropped their games to Sidney and Fairview 37-33 and 66-40 respectively.
“We’ve been working defensively. Still working, just need to put the ball in the hoop. We are slowly coming together and will take it game-by-game and fix what we need to and continue to put in work,” Indians’ head coach Frank “Bosh” Gourneau said.
Coming up for the Indians and Lady Indians are a road trip to Lame Deer for non-conference games Friday, Jan. 17 and Class 2B contests with Harlem at home in Moccasin Square Garden Saturday, Jan. 18.
