Gun Shows Appears In Federal Court
Frank Agedious Gun Shows, 41, a transient, appeared Jan. 24, before U.S. Magistrate Judge Timothy J. Cavan in Billings and pleaded not guilty.
He was charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
If convicted of the most serious crime, Gun Shows faces a maximum 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and five years to life of supervised release. The U.S. Marshals Service investigated the case.
He was arrested at a residence on the south side of Wolf Point Jan. 15 by the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office.
Gun Shows is a Level 3 sexual offender and is classified as a sexually violent predator. He was originally sentenced in 2001 for aggravated sexual abuse of a 10-year-old child on the Crow Indian Reservation.
