Event Raises Funds For Healthcare Foundation
The Roosevelt Medical Healthcare Foundation hosted its Night at the Museum fundraiser at Dry Prairie Rural Water Authority in Culbertson Oct. 8. Marketing/ foundation director Jaimee Green told the Community News that around 140 people attended the event.
“We are so fortunate to have the support of our community and this year it was exciting to see many new faces at the event,” said Green. “Because of the generosity of our sponsors and those who attended, we are that much closer to installing a sprinkler system that is going to make the outdoors a great place for our patients to not just look a,t but also get out into and enjoy.”
Teacher Karolyn Kohl said the evening was fun and well organized.
“It was a fun night,” said Kohl. “Everything went so well with the theme for the night. All of the raffles and auction items were great and the food was awesome.”
Steve and Shelley Baldwin won the Philanthropists Award. Attendees won prizes during a themed fundraiser drawing. Mandy Byrd won $500. Shirley Marchwick won a handmade table. Jason LaQua won a Fort Peck Summer Theatre season pass. Tamara Crowder won Alberta Baire Theater tickets. Larry Birch won a horse picture. Gene Schmitz won credit at Dar’s Design’s quilt. Larry Crowder won an outdoor stand-up heater. Tiffany Nielsen won Montana Silversmith’s jewelry. Marcy Boldt won a Culbertson family pool pass and Kara Halvorson won $150 in gift cards.
Proceeds from the evening will be used to help with the purchase of a sprinkler system, which will free up time for Roosevelt Medical Center staff to better serve patients at the facility.
