COVID Cases Continue To Decrease In State
Roosevelt County reported 20 active COVID cases as of Friday, Oct. 14. There have been 3,698 total cases in the county. Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Clinics for children 5-11 years of age are held every three weeks on Fridays. Call 406-653-6223 for a COVID vaccine appointment.
While COVID-19 cases are currently lower in Montana, experts predict there will be a resurgence of the virus and hospitalizations in the fall. This is the time to order the free at-home test kits available from COVID.gov/tests.

Daniels County had zero active cases as of Friday, Oct. 14. The county has 437 cumulative cases. In McCone County, there was zero active cases as of Friday, Oct. 14. There have been 427 cumulative cases.
For Richland County, there were eight active cases as of Friday, Oct. 14. There have been 2,868 cumulative cases.
Sheridan County had three active cases as of Friday, Oct. 14. There have been 857 cumulative cases in the county.
Statewide
According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 312,863 since the start of the pandemic. Around the state, there are 1,256 active cases and 1,027 newly reported cases in the last week.
By Friday, Oct. 14, a total of 3,566 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 13,398 individuals have been hospitalized.

Williams County, N.D., had 14 active cases as of Thursday, Oct. 13.
McKenzie County, N.D., had 11 active cases as of Thursday, Oct. 13.
Divide County, N.D., had three active cases as of Oct. 13.
Vaccine Doses
As of Friday, Oct. 14, 1,570,245 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 577,203 or 53 percent fully immunized Montanans.
In Roosevelt County, 14,362 total doses have been administered as of Friday, Oct. 14. There are 5,803 fully immunized for 53 percent of the county’s eligible population for vaccination.
In Daniels County, 1,849 total doses have been administered. There are 712 fully immunized for 43 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
In McCone County, 1,181 total doses have been administered. There are 430 fully immunized for 26 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
In Richland County, 10,755 total doses have been administered. There are 4,359 fully immunized for 39 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
In Sheridan County, 5,173 total doses have been administered. There are 1,868 fully immunized for 57 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
