Emily Brown

Emily Marie Walker Brown, 24, died Oct. 12, 2022.

She was born Oct. 12, 1998, in Great Falls and was raised in Wolf Point. She went to school in Wolf Point and Brockton.

During her time in school, she played basketball with her sisters, KayLiegh, Cheryl and Codi. She loved being around her sisters and playing sports with them. She also joined boxing at the Boys and Girls Club.

She also liked learning her Oceti Sakowia culture and language. She attended many ceremonies throughout her life, inipis-sweats, uwipis and sundances, dancing and praying for her families. She was a jingle dress dancer and, in her younger years, and attended many wacipis celebrations.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Walker of Macey, Neb.; and sister, Kimimila Brown of Wolf Point.

She is survived by her siblings, Patrick Joseph Brown of Regina, Sask., Canada, Francine Ann Brown of Regina,
