The Lustre Grade School basketball teams played excellent games against North Country Friday and Nashua on Saturday with good plays and sportsmanship. There are four teams: girls’ jamboree (4-6th); junior high girls (coached by Lisa Neufeld); boys’ jamboree (4-6th); and junior high boys, coached by Randy Reddig. The tournaments will be held as follows: the junior high tournament at Saco/Hindsdale Nov. 18 and the jamboree tournament is at Lustre Nov. 19.

LCHS students’ artwork lines the hallway to show what they are learning. Taught by Trisha Reddig, they are learning the patience it takes to do a form of art called pointillism. They produced beautiful renditions of wildlife in this manner.

Wacy and Jamie Ortmann have welcomed a baby girl, Avaree, to their family.
