The annual meeting of the Lustre Christian High School was held the evening of June 4, followed by the LCHS Foundation annual meeting. The meetings were held at the high school.
Funeral services for Gary Dahl will be held at the Lustre EMB church on Saturday, June 10, at 2 p.m.
Tamara Teichroew’s mother, Nadine Hain, has been visiting from California. She gave her testimony and presented her work of establishing a guesthouse in New Zealand where folks working there can come for rest and renewal. She was a school teacher from 1977-1984 in her sojourn as a missionary, on every continent. She spoke from Romans 12:9-13 on the character needed in order to practice hospitality.
Seeding is progressing and it is great to have green pastures. Not so pleasant are the many moths infesting the buildings. Bible Camp cleanup was delayed a week by the heavy rains in May.
Beacon Bible Camp began June 5 with Senior Camp (incoming grades 10-12). All the camps begin on Sunday afternoon and go to Friday morning. Junior Camp (incoming grades 4-6) is June 18-23.
