Bulls Score Victories Over Miles City, Expos

 

The Froid Bulls opened a busy stretch of baseball games by dropping a 6-3 decision on the road against the Miles City B team.

Miles City scored five of its runs in the second inning.

Brooks Solem singled and scored for the Bulls in the top of the third inning.

A single by Aiden Leibrand knocked home Kash Ator in the fifth. The Bulls’ final run was scored by Henry Kukowski in the sixth inning.

The Bulls bounced back to defeat Miles City, 13-4, in the second game. Ty Leischner was the winning pitcher for the Bulls.

Khye Gamas accounted for four of the Bulls’ runs. Preston Swenson added three runs.

Connor Hudyma led the Bulls’ offensive attack with four hits. Swenson and Gamas finished with two hits each.

The Bulls downed the Billings’ Upperdeck Expos, 9-5, on Wednesday, June 21.

Gaige Bushman was the game’s winning pitcher.

Gamas and Swenson scored for the Bulls during the first inning.

The Bulls ran off six runs in the second inning for an 8-2 advantage. Leibrand singled and scored in the frame. Also scoring were Leischner, Gamas, Cooper, Swenson and Bushman.

Gamas singled and scored in the third to put the Bulls ahead by a 9-2 margin.

Leibrand led the Bulls with two hits.

The Bulls are scheduled to host Miles City B on Sunday, July 2, with games starting at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
