Cowgirls Lose Match In Scobey

Culbertson dropped a fourset volleyball match in Scobey on Saturday, Sept. 2.

Scobey won the league match by a 15-25, 25-14, 25-14, 25-17 final.

Culbertson’s Destiny Thompson accounted for an excellent match with 17 kills, four aces, five blocks, an assist and 13 digs.

Scoring three kills each were Mariana Burciaga, Jazzmin Fugere and Leandra Perkins. Ivy Colvin added two kills.

Leaders in assists were Colvin with 19 and Ayden Ator with 28. Fugere had three blocks, 13 digs and three aces.

Perkins served six aces and added 10 digs.

Other leaders in aces included Colvin with three and Burciaga with two.

Having digs were Burciaga with 10, Colvin with seven and Ator with six.

The Cowgirls will play at Bainville on Thursday, Sept. 7, and compete at a tournament in Scobey on Saturday, Sept. 9.
