Wolves Prepare For Game In Baker
The Wolf Point Wolves will look to bounce back when they travel to Baker for a non-conference football game on Friday, Sept. 1.
Wolf Point fell to Joliet by a 50-6 margin on Friday, Aug. 25.
Baker opened its season with a 36-8 loss against Malta.
Joliet jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and held a 36-0 advantage after three quarters of play against Wolf Point.
Wolf Point’s only score came on a run by Charlie Page in the fourth quarter.
“It was a tough game overall,” Wolf Point coach Anthony Red Cloud said. “Tackling hurt us and will be a point of emphasis.”
Wolf Point’s first home game is against Fairfield on Friday, Sept. 8.
“The boys remain working hard and it’s good to have a game under our belt,” Red Cloud said. “There’s a lot to work on now.”
