Bearcubs Place In Malta

The Frazer Bearcubs claimed third place in the boys’ division during the Malta Invitational held on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Havre’s boys topped the field in the cross country meet with 12 points and Harlem placed second with 14 points. The Bearcubs finished with 40 points.

Havre’s Caleb Tomac ran a 16:28.13 for the fastest time at the meet.

Frazer’s Jarvis Goodbird earned seventh place at 19:28.14.

Gabe Beston took 12th place at 20:08.29.

Travis Long captured 33rd place at 23:16.44. Christopher Fox was 34th at 24:29.88.

Joseph Beston placed 45th with a time of 29:31.66.

In the girls’ division, Havre was the top team with 10 points. Havre’s Ashlyn Ford ran to first-place honors at 19:53.32.

Frazer’s Shakira Beston placed 27th at 29:02.34.

Frazer will head to Harlem for another meet on Friday, Oct. 13.
