Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report
The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 105 calls from Nov. 13-20.
Nov. 13
At about midnight, an adult female in Fort Kipp reported her boyfriend was acting up. She reported that he was hitting bedroom walls. Deputies couldn’t locate the male, but sent a criminal mischief report to tribal prosecutors.
Nov. 14
Deputies responded to Fort Kipp for a report of a domestic incident. A male and female had a verbal argument. The couple couldn’t be located.
Nov. 16
Deputies responded to a report of a suicidal male in Wolf Point. The male was informed that his family was worried, but he said he was not suicidal.
Deputies assisted north of Culbertson with a semitruck on fire. Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on Montana Highway 16. The vehicle hit a deer. Deputies assisted with the crash report.
Deputies received report of a male entering a residence in Wolf Point where he wasn’t welcome. He was ordered to stay away from the residence.
Nov. 19
Deputies responded to a report of an assault in the Edgewater Apartments in Poplar. The female who made the report couldn’t be located to investigate the incident.
Nov. 20
Deputies assisted the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice with a report of a missing 6-year-old in Poplar. Deputies received the call at 2 a.m. and the youth was found at about 2:45 a.m. at a neighbor’s house.
