Lions Earn Win Over Terriers

Lustre gained control in the second quarter to down Terry, 57-33, in girls’ basketball play at the Class C tip-off tournament on Saturday, Dec. 2.

After a 10-10 deadlock at the end of the first quarter, the Lions accounted for 18 points in the second period for a 28-17 half-time lead.

Lustre led 40-28 after the third quarter and then put the game away with 17 points in the fourth quarter.

Lustre’s top scorers were Kencia Brown with 18, Alexa Reddig with 12 and Aubri Holzrichter with 10 points.

Also scoring for the Lions were Lauryn Holzrichter with eight, Grace Brown with four, Hannah Brown with two and Lauren Fast with two.

Kiera Chaska led Terry with 12 points.

Lustre will play at the Scobey Invitational on Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9.
