Frazer Loses Games Against MonDak

The Frazer Bearcubs came up short in their two non-conference basketball games in MonDak on Saturday, Dec. 10.

MonDak’s girls won by a 52-42 margin. The Thunder outscored the Bearcubs by a 16-0 margin in the fourth quarter to gain the victory.

After trailing by a 14-9 score at the end of the first quarter, the Bearcubs accounted for 17 points in the second period for a 26-21 lead.

Frazer held a 42-36 advantage at the end of the third quarter.

Maci Fourstar-Sibley scored 25 of Frazer’s points. Baily Beston finished with 12 and Isabelle Fourstar had five points.

Top scorers for MonDak were Abby Lowes with 22 and Emma Christian with 17 points.

In the boys’ game, MonDak earned a 47-29 victory.

The Thunder stormed out to a 19-8 lead in the first quarter and held a 32-10 half-time advantage.

Leading MonDak were Graham Wright with 19 and Cade Else with 12 points.
