Students Place At Meet

The Culbertson High School speech and drama team traveled to Plentywood over the weekend.

Placing were Harrison Green, first in informative; Josie Simonsen, third in dramatic solo; Florian Budurean, fourth in humorous solo; Chris Chilson, sixth in dramatic solo; Jaxon Flinn, sixth in informative and Logan Berwick was ninth in humorous interpretation.

Overall, the team placed third in both Class C speech and drama.

Coach Jeri Gustafson said, “Our season is on the downhill slide as we only have two invitational tournaments left in the season.”

The next competition is set for Jan. 6 at Dawson High School in Glendive.
