Lustre Girls Win Game In Bainville

Lustre’s girls got off to a good start and defeated Frazer, 62-41, during District 3C basketball play on Monday, Dec. 18.

The Lions jumped out to a 25-7 advantage in the opening quarter.

Lustre led 37-17 at the half and by a 49-27 margin after three quarters.

Aubri Holzrichter led Lustre’s attack with 20 points.

Also reaching double figures for the Lions were Kencia Brown with 14, Alexa Reddig with 13 and Hannah Brown with 10 points.

Rounding out Lustre’s scoring were Grace Brown with three and Lauryn Holzrichter with two points.

Top scorers for the Bearcubs were Isabelle Fourstar with 15 and Maci Fourstar-Sibley with 10 points.

Also scoring were Shakira Beston with seven, Angelina White with five and Baily Beston with four points.
