Firemen Rescue Individual Trapped In Bin
The Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department started its year with a successful rescue on Monday, Jan. 1.
The fire department received a report of a male trapped up to his waist in a bin full of peas around noon on Monday. Firemen used a cofferdam to rescue the individual. The tool was donated to the fire department from Ag Partners/CHS.
“Normally, in situations like this we are looking at a bucket brigade and quite a bit of shovel work, but not today,” fire chief Clint Bushman reported on social media. “The setup and recovery went fast and incredibly smoothly. One small training changed the lives of firemen and a survivor.”
