Lions Down Nashua, 70-32
The Lustre Lions outscored Nashua by a 70-32 margin in boys’ basketball action on Friday, Jan. 19.
After leading 13-9 at the end of the first quarter, the Lions scored 18 points in the second quarter for a 31-16 advantage.
Lustre then ran off 24 points in the third quarter to increase the lead to 55-24.
Leading the Lions were Johnslee Pierre with 19 and Terran Joseph with 16 points.
Also scoring for Lustre were Cayden Klatt with nine, Prestyn Klatt with eight, Bryon Ewing with six, Cam Reddig with five, Diek Olfert with four and Clay Reddig with three.
Grady Nielsen led Nashua with 13 points.
The Lions will play at Frazer on Friday, Jan. 26, and host Bainville on Saturday, Jan. 27.
