Frazer Falls Against Circle Teams
Frazer dropped both basketball games during action in Circle on Wednesday, Jan. 31.
Circle’s boys won by a final margin of 87-51.
Circle gained a 16-9 advantage in the opening quarter and led 32-25 at the half.
The Wildcats then scored 25 points in the third quarter for a 57-46 advantage. Circle outscored the Bearcubs by a 30-5 margin in the fourth quarter. Donovan Gibbs scored 11 points for Circle in the fourth quarter.
Frazer’s top scorers were Joseph Beston with 20 and Gabriel Beston with 12 points. Ty Fourstar added eight points.
Also scoring for the Bearcubs were Zayden Hentges with six and Jarvis Goodbird with five points.
Leading Circle were Jace Curtiss with 24, Gibbs with 18 and Owen Beery with 18 points.
In the girls’ game, Circle won by a 53-21 final.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 25-12 half-time lead and increased the gap to 36-15 in the third quarter.
Baily Beston led Frazer with nine points. Also scoring were Shakira Beston with five, Maci Fourstar-Sibley with three, Isabelle Fourstar with two and Angeline White with two points.
Top scorers for Circle were Kirsten Wagner with 14, Madeline Moline with 11 and Matilda Wedding with 10 points.
