Families Attend Engagement Night At Southside

Southside Elementary School conducted its first family engagement night at the school on Thursday, Feb. 22.

The night, organized by administrative intern Patricia Payne, featured several games of Bingo being played.

“It’s to get people into the building,” Southside Principal Tara Thomas said of the goal of the activities. “We’re glad to have a good turnout.”

Prizes were available through Fort Peck’s Health Promotion Disease Prevention program.

Junior high students under the direction of teacher Rona Stevens prepared cakes for the event.
