Martell Enjoying Good Senior Year

Wolf Point High School senior Sunni Martell is enjoying a good senior year at the school.

She said one of her favorite hobbies is riding horses.

“I’ve been riding horses since I was a little girl,” Martell said.

Her accomplishments have included placing in barrel racing during small rodeo events in the area.

Growing up on a farm made her appreciate agriculture. She still assists her grandfather with cows on his farm.

Martell said the highlights of her high school days have included seeing her friends every day, dances and basketball games.

She says her favorite class is art because of teacher Vivian Schultz. “She’s really nice,” Martell said.

After high school, Martell plans to study psychology at the University of Wyoming. Her goal is to become an occupational therapist.

She became interested in the field when she watched a therapist work with one of her relatives.

“I really like what they do,” Martell said.
