Walleyes Unlimited Plans Annual Banquet For Saturday
One of the top social events of the year in Wolf Point will take place on Saturday, April 6, when the 38th annual banquet for the Walleyes Unlimited of Montana - Wolf Point Chapter is celebrated at the Wolf Point Elks Event Center.
Social hour begins at 5 p.m. The walleye and prime rib dinner starts at 7 p.m.
Kris Keller, regional director, and Garrett Pronto, chapter president, said the evening will be similar to prior years with many fun games and door prizes galore.
The grand door prize is a Milwaukee cordless lawn care kit.
Awards during the night will include Angler of the Year, Sponsor of the Year and possibly a selection into the Wolf Point Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited’s Hall of Fame.

Top prizes this year include a Savage ultralite rifle, $1,000 in cash and a 10-piece cast iron cookware set.
The chapter is active in the area and community throughout the year. Walleyes Unlimited co-sponsors a Christmas lighting contest in the community during the holidays.
The organization is also a financial supporter of other non-profit groups in the area including Ike’s Pond project in Culbertson.
The chapter assists with tournaments at Fort Peck including the Montana Governor’s Cup Walleye Tournament, Women’s Walleye Tournament, Rock Creek Walleye Tournament and Warriors on the Water.
