Wolves Kickoff Track Season In Havre
Wolf Point’s track team opened its 2024 season with a meet in Havre on Wednesday, April 10.
In the girls’ division, Wolf Point’s varsity scored six points and the JVs accounted for 37.5 points.
Ali Corpron, a junior, placed third in the discus with a best of 94-11 for the Wolves at the varsity level.
Wolf Point’s JV 400-meter relay team featuring Adalynn Smith, Harper Weeks, Teagan Williams and Navella Weeks finished first at 58.08 seconds.
Smith placed third in the 100 at 13.84 seconds and second in the 400 at 69.59 seconds. Navella Weeks earned third in the 200 at 30.10 seconds and fifth in the 100 at 14.23 seconds.
Harper Weeks earned fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 21.58 seconds. Smith took fifth in the long jump with a mark of 13-3.
Wolf Point’s boys tallied 22.33 points in the JV division.
Jayden Dominique ran to first-place honors in the 100 with a time of 25.34 seconds.
Tavian Bell and Jayden Dominique tied for second place in the pole vault by clearing 7-6.
Bell took fifth in the 800 with a time of 2:28.81 and sixth in the 400 at 63.74.
