Culbertson Takes Part In Fairview Meet

Culbertson accounted for 28 points in the girls’ division and 29 points in the boys’ division during the Fairview Invitational track meet on Wednesday, May 1.

Destiny Thompson came through with a second-place showing in the javelin with a mark of 107-0. The senior placed fourth in the shot put at 29-1 and fifth in the 100 at 14.27 seconds.

Jade LoneBear had a time of 15:28.76 for third place in the 3200.

Emma Berwick placed fifth in the discus with a mark of 83-6.

Culbertson’s girls’ 1600-meter relay team featuring Stella Fox, Rebekah Ellerkamp, LoneBear and Serenity Wilbanks took third place with a time of 5:49.33.

In the boys’ division, Mark Kirkaldie placed second in the javelin with a best of 1398. Brooks Solem took sixth in the event at 133-8.

Plenny Williams earned third place in the discus with a best of 137-7. Cal Steppler finished third in the 3200 at 12:21.12.

Aden Drake placed sixth in the 110-meter hurdles at 22.05 seconds.

The boys’ 400-meter relay team consisting of Harrison Green, Reese Moon, Ian Snyder and Williams placed third at 47.39 seconds.
