Powwow Dates Set For Fort Peck

Celebrations have been scheduled across the Fort Peck Indian Reservation for summer.

The Red Bottom Celebration in Frazer has been set for June 13-16, with a camping day and community feed on June 13 at 6 p.m.

The Badlands Celebration in Brockton will begin Thursday, June 27, with a camping day. It runs through Sunday, June 30.

A traditional celebration will be hosted by the Wolf Point Community Organization at the Wadopana Grounds in Wolf Point Saturday, July 13, and the regular Wadopana Celebration will be hosted Aug. 1-4.

The Turns Around Powwow in Poplar is set for August 15-18. A parade for points will be held starting at the American Legion Aug. 17 at 10:30 a.m. Poplar Indian Days will be held Aug. 29 through Sept. 1 The Fort Kipp Celebration is set for Aug. 22-25. Camping day and a youth powwow on planned on Thursday.
