Bulls Win Game Against Oilers

The Post 49 Bulls edged the Williston Oilers, 7-5, in American Legion baseball action on Wednesday, June 5.

Down by a 3-2 margin, the Bulls tied the game when a ground-out by Kash Ator scored a run.

The Bulls grabbed the lead with three runs in the top of the fifth inning. A double by Ty Leischner highlighted the inning.

Henry Kukowski was the game’s winning pitcher. He struck-out eight batters and allowed seven hits in the contest. Leischner pitched the final two frames for a save.

Leading the Bulls’ attack with two hits each were Plenny Williams and Leischner. Williams connected for a triple for one of his hits.

Williams, Kukowski and Leischner each scored two runs.
