Operation Walking Shield Takes Place In Area
“Operation Walking Shield” conducted walk-ins at Wolf Point High School last week.
Soldiers and a general were present Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This operation will gave assistance on a variety of medicines.
The Wolf Point High School wants people to give salute to the people in the U.S. Army while there. The services offered are behavioral health, laboratory, nursing, optometry and physicians. The Indian Health Services is happy to work with the Fort Peck Tribal on this program.
Benefits of Walking Shield include it provides quality, no-cost medical care and increases deployment readiness of the soldiers.
The groups and people running this program hope it is a success.
