Speech, Drama Camp Held In Wolf Point
To prepare for the upcoming season, the Wolf Point speech and drama program held its “Get Back in the Groove,” camp at the high school/junior high school on Monday, June 24, and Tuesday, June 25.
“It’s to get kids ready for next year and give them a head start to find their pieces,” coach Jacob Boysun said.
The event attracted eight students during the two days.
Boysun announced that the Montana High School Association is allowing eighthgrade students to compete at the high school level for speech and drama starting this school year. He is hopeful that those younger students take advantage of that opportunity to help the program.
The Wolves should be returning a solid team as state qualifiers back should include Cole Boysun, Elliauna Ryan, Chase Adams and Ryver Summers.
“We lost some good talent,” Jacob Boysun said, but the coach is optimistic for another strong season.
The squad will begin practices in early October.
