Fair’s Market Sale Will Feature Plenty Beef, Swine
The 4-H/FFA livestock sale at the Roosevelt County Fair is anticipated to feature 27 market beef and 26 market swine this year. The sale starts at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9.
The 4-H members with market beef include seven from the Centennial Clovers 4-H Club. Those members are Jodi Albus, Blythe Anderson, Copeland Anderson, Emmalyn Anderson, Tally Berwick, Tenley Berwick and Kalia Featherston.
Sophie Portra and Elsie Wilson will represent the Tumbleweed 4-H Club. Ally Johnson and Brooke Wineinger will represent the Up-N-Atom Club.
Representing Culbertson FFA will be Dawson Bergum, Kylie Bergum, Kaden Featherston and Payton Labatte. Bainville FFA members showing are Hailey Berwick, Parker Berwick, Jalynn Bjorge, Kaston Hofer and Rowan Wilson. Showing for Froid FFA will be Jordyn Breuer, Lilly Johnson, Avrie Nordlund, Cody Olson, Kaylee Olson, Keira Stentoft and Nate Stentoft.
For the market swine sale, Centennial Clovers 4-H members will include Jodi Albus, Blythe Anderson, Copeland Anderson, Emmalyn Anderson, Sterling Anderson, Tally Berwick, Boone Vandenbos and Wiley Vandenbos.
Representing the Tumbleweed 4-H Club for the swine sale will be Cejaye Flinn, Faxon Flinn, Kashtyn Flinn, Sophie Portra, Holden Salivar, Tacey Traeger and Tannen Traeger.
Felix Becker represents Culbertson FFA in the swine sale. Representing Bainville FFA are Jaylynn Bjorge, Charles Butikofer, Sam Butikofer, Lila Butikofer, Addison Hansen, Azure Mahoney and Durrant Mahoney. Taking part from Froid FFA are Jordyn Breuer, Cody Olson and Kaylee Olson.
Showing market lambs will be Jodi Albus, Ella Anderson, Tenley Berwick, Jaylynn Bjorge, Kaden Featherston, Kalia Featherston and Jacob Nordlund.
Tenley Berwick, Kalia Featherston, Payton Labatte and Keira Stentoft will sell market goats. Eleanor Iversen and Wiley Vandendos have market poultry.
