Sierra Summers Signs With Dawson

Wolf Point’s Sierra Summers has signed to compete in cross country and track at Dawson Community College in Glendive.

During her high school career, she ran for the Wolf Point Wolves and Frazer Bearcubs.

Summers recently earned six gold medals at the Big Sky State Games. Her victories included in the half marathon, 5K, 800-meter run, 1500, 400 and 200.

She will be joining her brother Peyton, who is entering his freshman year in Dawson. Peyton won the Class B state cross country championship as well as titles in the 1600 and 3200 during his senior high school year.

Accomplishments during Sierra’s high school career included placing 10th at the Class B state cross country meet as both a freshman and sophomore in Wolf Point. She took 17th at the Class C state meet for Frazer as a junior and broke the school’s record for the 1600-meter run.
