Froid/Lake Girls Post Victory

The Froid/Lake volleyball team swept Brockton, 25-5, 25-6, 25-12, during play on Thursday, Sept. 5.

Mara Salvevold led the Red Hawks’ attack with seven aces and two kills. Isabelle Nordwick accounted for five aces and four kills.

Brooklynn Nordwick finished with three kills and two aces. Joelle Davidson scored seven aces and a kill.

Alexa Nelson served nine aces. Avery Johnson had six aces. Addison Elvsaas served two aces.

Leah Murray had two kills. Also scoring kills for the Red Hawks were Jordyn Breuer and Keira Stentoft.

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks dropped a non-conference volleyball match against Savage on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

After winning the first set by a 26-24 margin, the Red Hawks lost by a 25-15 margin in the second set. The Red Hawks rebounded to down the Warriors 25-21 in the third game, but Froid/Lake dropped the fourth set 16-25 and fifth set 8-15.

The Red Hawks will host Frazer on Friday, Sept. 13, and then compete at the Scobey Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 14.
