The annual Governor’s Conference on Aging was created in 1968. This mission is to offer information and education to our older citizens, their families and caregivers. Attendees include the elderly, persons with disabilities and caregivers. The conferences cover topics relevant to all people who are dealing with aging and disability issues.

This year’s conference will be held Oct. 1-3 at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center. Sessions are designed to educate and inform attendees on various aspects of aging and caregiving and provide ample networking opportunities for participants to engage with peers, experts and industry leaders.

A special luncheon honoring Montana’s centenarians, marking the significance of individuals aged 100 or older in the state, is scheduled for noon on Oct. 1. The event celebrates the remarkable lives and contributions of these distinguished citizens.

Registration is due Sept. 24 for the Centenarian Luncheon, which is complementary for Centenarian plus one guest. Additional guests will need to purchase a luncheon ticket.

Conference registrants may book a room at the Billings Hotel & Convention Center. Enter the group code 53048 to get the $107 per-night rate, plus tax, during the conference. For more information about reservations, call the hotel at 406-248-7151.
