Circle Presents Town, Country Day
The Circle Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture announces that Town and Country Appreciation Day will take place Saturday, Sept. 21.
Highlights include a parade on Main Street starting at 10 a.m. Parade line-up begins at 9 a.m.
The Bump and Run begins at 2 p.m. at the Circle race track.
The Town and Country Day Barbecue is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the McCone Electric Garage. Meal contributions are being made by Redwater Valley Bank, Farmers Union Oil, McCone Electric, Mid-Rivers and Grasslands Federal Credit Union.
A dance featuring music by Sideways begins at 9 p.m. at the Circle VFW Hall.
The day also includes sidewalks sales and a farmers market. Yard games are offered starting at 11 a.m. at the Cinema. A gallery shoot takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Memorial Building Indoor Range.
The Eastern Montana Gymnastics Club will sell traveling tacos at the Memorial Building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Desserts and quilts are offered at the senior center from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can play Bingo at the VFW from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
The day starts with a breakfast sponsored by the Circle Volunteer Fire Department at the CCM banquet room from 7 to 9 a.m.
The McCone County Museum will offer free admission from 1 to 5 p.m. Visitors can see the newly refurbished train depot, new displays and other museum improvements.
