Executive Board Passes Tribal Budgets

 

The Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board held its regular meeting Sept. 30 in Poplar. A motion was passed to approve the Fiscal Year 2025 Tribal Budget in the amount of $21,591,804, with no COLA. The budget includes $150 Percap. The deficit is $2,700.

HPDPs Tribal Health Improvement Budget was also approved in the amount of $6,799,99 and the Third Party Revenue School-Based Health Clinic budget in the amount of $5,000,000.12 for fiscal year 2025, which was amended to run from Oct. 1, 2024, to Sept. 30, 2025.

A motion was approved to help pay the offset cost for Ethelene WhiteHawk’s funeral expenses.

The Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board is the duly elected body representing the Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes of the Fort Peck Reservation and is empowered to act on behalf of the Tribes. All actions shall be adherent to provisions set forth in the 1960 Constitution and By-Laws.

The next meeting is set for Oct. 15.
