Gas Prices Increase By 0.3 Cents In Past Week
Average gasoline prices in Montana have risen 0.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.18/g on Monday, Oct. 21, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 10.9 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 68.9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has declined 1.3 cents in the last week and stands at $3.56 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Montana was priced at $3.01/g on Sunday, Oct. 20, while the most expensive was $3.69/g, a difference of 68.0 cents per gallon. The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.13/g on Monday. The national average is down 6.2 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 39.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
