Wolf Point Loses Football Game In Glasgow
The Wolf Point Wolves’ football season ended with a 42-8 loss at Glasgow on Friday, Oct. 25.
The Scotties enjoyed a good start with 21 points scored during the first quarter of the conference game.
Glasgow then added touchdowns at the 4:28 and 1:24 marks of the second quarter for a 35-0 half-time advantage.
After a scoreless third quarter, Glasgow scored with 8:15 left in the game for a 42-0 margin.
The highlight for the Wolves came on their last drive as runs by Jesse Reed and Kasey Reed produced a first down at the Glasgow 46. After a seven-yard gain by J. Reed earned a first down at the 33, the Wolves picked up another first down on a 16yard dash by quarterback K. Reed to the 20.
On a first-down play at the six, J. Reed reached the end zone with 55 seconds left in the game. K. Reed ran in for the conversion for the 42-8 final.
The Wolves finished their season with a 2-7 record including wins against Shepherd and Roundup.
Glasgow took second place in the conference and will host Eureka in a first-round playoff game.
