Valley, McCone Counties Vote Republican In Election

Election results in Valley County included Jeff Alsberg being elected to an open seat as a county commissioner.

Alsberg received 60 percent of the vote compared to Mitch Willett’s 40 percent.

Republican Eric Albus defeated Blake Borst by a 77-23 percent margin for the House District #28 seat.

Elected were Gregg Hunter as the State Senator for District 15 and Valerie Moore for the State Representative for District 29.

Valley County had a turnout of 80 percent of its voters, with 4,148 casting their ballots.

In McCone County, the voting turnout was 87 percent with 1,095 casting their ballots.

Running unopposed were Republican Bob Phalen for the State Senator District 17 seat and Republican Jerry Schillinger for the State Representative District 34 position.

Ty Taylor ran unopposed for county commissioner.

McCone County voters approved continuing the levy for the support of the Mc-Cone County Health Center by a vote of 716 to 347.
