Culbertson Town Council Approves Lot Split, Audit Report

The Culbertson Town Council held its regular meeting Nov. 12. An update on the bathhouse project was provided. The council is expected to have a bid package by Friday. The council discussed $9,500 from Account 101050 for use on the bathhouse project. A special meeting is expected.

Ross Stalcup delivered the 202122 audit report. Denning, Downey & Associates has been approved for audit preparation moving forward.

Approximately $133,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funding must be allocated by Dec. 31 on projects to be determined. Action is expected at the December meeting.

The council approved an amended plat for Pete Olson and council member Dave Solem, who agreed to split a lot separating their respective properties.

The council discussed $2.75 million in available grant funding for tourism efforts. An advisory board is being formed, and Great Northern Development Corporation will be providing assistance.

The next Culbertson Town Council meeting is set for Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m.
