Students Fare Well At Ag Expo

Culbertson’s FFA students enjoyed success during the recent Ag Expo held at Montana State University in Bozeman.

Along with competitions, students also participated in a career fair and various workshops.

Culbertson’s Quiz Bowl team featuring Ayden Ator, Josie Simonsen, Kaden Featherston, Kalia Featherston, Mark Kirkaldie and Payton Labatte qualified for the finals’ round.

The agronomy team of Ator, Bella Petersen, Bridger Salvevold, Ian Snyder and Ivy Colvin earned 16th place out of 39 squads.

The sales team consisting of Salvevold, Cal Steppler, Henry Colvin and Kirkaldie took 25th out of 57 teams.

Culbertson’s vet science team featuring Petersen, Kalia Featherston, Ivy Colvin and Labatte placed 29th out of 74 teams.

In the mechanics’ competition, Culbertson’s team of Petersen, Steppler, Henry Colvin, Snyder and Ivy Colvin took 46th place out of 73 teams.
